Dutch schuimblok trivia

The sugar foam blocks are a typical Dutch sweet treat. But did you know that in 1997 it was introduced in the Spanish market? The flavour was changed to strawberry and the name to “Tochos Refrescantes” ("refreshing stones")

The main ingredient for the blocks is dextrose (70%). It could also be used as a 'quick' energy source.
